Terms and Conditions


BOOKING:

Telephone us directly to make a booking. No booking fees charged*.
We ask all guests to complete our Booking Form.

A deposit of £100 is required. Payment by Debit/Credit Card, BACS, or Cheque.                                              
Bank Account details are listed on the Booking Form.
Cheques should be made payable to Mrs M Tydeman.
If paying by cheque please telephone for confirmation of availability before sending your deposit and booking form.

CONDITIONS OF BOOKING:

We maintain a high standard and try to make each cottage a proper home from home which we ask our visitors to honour. Please remember that the accommodation is self-catering and not serviced.

  • A deposit of £100 is payable upon booking. The balance must be paid six weeks before the date of arrival. If a booking is made less than six weeks before arrival the full amount is due at the time of booking . 
  • Payment can be made by BACS (Bank Transfer) or by Cheque (Cheques are payable to Mrs M Tydeman)
  • Cancellations must be received in writing. The owners reserve the right to decide what refund, if any, should be made. Deposits are not returnable. Should the property be re-let the balance will normally be refunded. No recompense can be made on a holiday curtailed on or after arrival date.
  • We recommend that guests purchase their own Holiday Cancellation Insurance.
  • The owners will not accept liability for any loss or damage to guests, their belongings or third parties, or for loss or damage to any motor vehicle or its contents by or to third parties however caused.
  • Pets may come at the discretion of the owners by prior arrangement. No pets to be left unattended in the Cottage and must be kept of all furniture and beds.
  • The hirer is expected to leave the property and contents as found and the hirer is liable for any damage incurred.
  • On departure please ensure that the Cottage is left clean and tidy.
  • Deficiencies, Damage to, or Failure of, any items in the Cottage must be reported to the owners immediately, and not left until the day of departure. Repairs are not to be undertaken by residents. 
  • We would only cancel your holiday if your accommodation was unavailable for reasons beyond our control. We would, however, attempt to offer you alternative accommodation. If this was not possible or unacceptable to you, then we would refund all monies paid by you for your holiday. Except in exceptional circumstances, our liability would not extend beyond this refund.
  • Bookings commence from 3.30pm on the day of arrival, and on the day of departure the cottage must be vacated by 10am.  
  • Our Data Protection Policy: Your personal details will be held on file and will not be shared with any third party. Your details will only be used to contact you by email, post or telephone in connection with your holiday booking.

* Those booking from outside the U.K. will be charged the price of the holiday plus any bank charges incurred.
